Rožnov pod Radhoštěm is situated in the North-Eastern part of Moravia close to the border with Slovakia.
How to reach Rožnov from Bohemia: The ideal way is a route Prague - Olomouc - Hranice na Moravě. Around Olomouc, there is a new-built bypass so that it is not
necessary to go through the center. You can go comfortably nearly as far as to Hranice na Moravě. Close to Hranice, there is a big roundabout, where it is necessary to turn to the
right in the direction Valašské Meziříčí. Orientation in Valašské Meziříčí is not complicated as well. In the second mini-roundabout, you shall turn to the left, and then you have
to overcome the remaining 15 km, and you are in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.
How to reach Rožnov from Ostrava: It is simple from Ostrava as well. There exist two possibilities. One of them is longer and slower. It is a route Frýdek-Místek - Frenštát
pod Radhoštěm. We cannot recommend it, because it goes through several long villages. The better route is Frýdek-Místek - Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. It is possible to go through the
four-lane road, it is just necessary to be careful not to turn off on the first branch road to Frýdlant. It is better to avoid it. You shall leave the above-mentioned four-lane road
down to the right behind Frýdlant. Then, the villages of Čeladná and Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem follow. Approximately 2 km behind Frenštát, turn to the left to Trojanovice. So you
avoid Frenštát, and you have just less than 15 minutes way to Rožnov before yourself.
How to reach Rožnov from Zlín: Road from Zlín is the simplest. You go all the time straight ahead through the main road and in Vizovice, you will turn to the left to Vsetín.
In Vsetín, you shall turn to the left in the direction of Valašské Meziříčí. After going through several small villages, including Bystřička and Jablůnka, where it is almost
impossible to overtake, you will be welcome in the town of Valašské Meziříčí. You will go there through the first and the second roundabout straight on and in the third roundabout,
you shall turn to the right in the Rožnov direction. You will have to go the last 15 km.
How to reach Rožnov from Slovakia: You will go straight on from Bumbalka on the main road through the villages of Horní, Prostřední and Dolní Bečva, and you will be
Rožnov.
How to move in Rožnov: In the map, you can see two junctions with traffic lights. If you go from Ostrava, you will turn both in the first and in the second
junction to the right. If you go from Slovakia, you will have to go straight on through the first junction with traffic lights and in the second junction, you will turn to the
right. If you go from Valašské Meziříčí, you will turn in the first junction to the left. Afterwards, you will go on all in the same way. After approximately 100 m, you will turn to
the left round the restaurant Rosava, you will go through the street of 1. máje straight on approximately 500 m and turn to the left round the restaurant Melody. If you went on in
the straight direction, you would enter the Industrial Area round the gas station Paramo. After 80 m behind the Melody restaurant, which will pass on the right side, you will reach
the underpass (for pedestrians only), so you can turn off again to the left only. After 100 m in the one-way road Zemědělská, you will see on the right side a railway station and on
the left side the orange-blue-yellow building of the T-club.
